Art Project: Underneath
Ted Forbes of Art of Photography has a periodic photo assignment that promotes exploring new photographic directions and self-reflection. This project is the second of the assignments I've accepted. The first, Variations:Alienation, was a more significant undertaking and was a one-month effort. This project is the result of one week's work, so it is a little more compact. I hope the glimpse into an unseen world through a camera shooting from an unfamiliar vantage will encourage more exploration of your surroundings and that they are not as dusty as what I found.
The cover photo has a page from my journal during the project. Intentional self-evaluation and self-criticism of the photography is woven into the project. They may be more important than the images themselves, but this gallery is focused on the images - the art of the photograph.
